11x24, acrylic on board. Based on mourning cloak butterfly, eastern hemlock, and mind in turmoil.

Took about a hundred photos of this thing before settling on this one, and still don't have the color quite right... The iridescence on blue spots and seeming transparency on the red bits just doesn't come across.

Relaxations are basically little geometric pieces that I've been doing inbetween larger things. I wouldn't call them meditations because, at the end of each, 've yet to solve any serious personal problems. ;)

Finally done with the detailing on Cradle of Life. (~12x24, acrylic on board) If I had to pick a personal favorite from this years' works, this would be it.
