More apples and Wrens.

A pair of 4x6s from today. (~20 minutes each). There's something very satisfying about doing these smaller panels.
And update on the Fairy Wrens.Still a lot of tonal issues to resolve.

Apple.

A 5x5 inch from today, acrylic on board.

We'll be going to the cherry festival in DC this weekend, which I'm looking forward to immensely. The height of blooms was today, but it's still supposed to be rather nice out. Hopefully some nice pictures shall be taken.

What I need to do is find some place to take good reference pics of fruits on branches. There's just not enough of the right thing on google images, as far as that goes.

Blah.

Okay.. all day I've been distracted as the dickens.
Began working on my Abingdon wolf yesterday.
And did a half-hour study with apple and peanuts, mainly for shits and giggles. And because I couldn't sit still between gessoing some large panels.

Chickies Galore

5x6 inches, acrylics on board for both of the below.

Currently working on a number of 24x48 inch pieces for the November thing at the Appalachian Spirit Gallery. Should have started on that batch in the beginning of the summer. Gods, I love last minute panic! :D
