Cornflowers

A pair of 5x5 inchers from today. Haven't painted cornflowers since the long-ago stint at the farmers' market in Abingdon, and it's kind of amusing to see the difference. The cornflowers below were done in August of 2012; those long panels have long since been sold.

Origin of Dragons

The Origin of Dragons (Thief of Wings),12x16 inches, acrylic on board. 

It only took several months to get around to realizing that the peonies in this painting were not drawn as double-flowers, but as singles.
