... Mostly dogs, so far.
Yesterday and today, 've been working on pet portrait commissions. The left two are fully done, the right ones have yet to be touched up and detailed. There's probably a witty comment about being a production artist floating somewhere out here, but for the life of me, I can't think of what it is.

On the reading end, been listening to more audio-books than humanly possible, mostly borrowed from the South-West Virginia public library online borrowing system. Not sure if every state has one, but if they don't, they should.

So... for the past week, 've been guesting in Indiana, welding shit together for shits and giggles with a good friend, and peeling more apples than I care to recall. (There was a major bumper crop in the area, to the point where the trees were bent double, touching the ground. AKA Applepocalypse.)
There will be a massive influx of cat/dog paintings in the month of September, but until then, here are some Wrenlinesses.

Doodle continued.

So... whipped out my tablet, for the first time in years, and tried to digitally color the earlier doodle. Three hours later, we've got this monstrosity. :D

Still working on the bloody rooster. It was supposed to be an Appalachia-themed pic, but then I started listening to "The Spirit of Albion" by Damh the Bard, and things happened.

  Stuff from today and yesterday. Also almost finished a 5x7 blue cat. Helped Ellen Elmes paint the mural from 7:30 to 12:00 this afternoon, went home for an hour, then painted in the studio until 5. Still need to throw together a comic page for Monday. Life's kicking ass in a stressful, but good, way.

Underpaintings

A couple of 6x8s; will do underpainting tomorrow.

Had a radio interview for the Highlands Festival-related stuff the day before yesterday, and a tiny little TV appearance for Daytime Tricities today. T'was fun, if stressful and time-consuming.

Haven't been able to paint as much as I'd like to recently, due to running around like a chicken with my head cut off. (Festival/travel/shows/parents/etc.)

The new cat's name is Tilly, which stands short for Pestilence-on-our-finances. :D
